Do you like to help people? Are you interested in picking up civil defence and first aid skills? Do you want to practise these skills and put them to good use in times of crisis, to help save lives, alleviate sufferings, mitigate loss and damage?
Find out how you can help fellow Singaporeans as a member of the People's Association Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), pick up useful life-saving skills and be part of a dedicated team.
Introduced in 2004, CERTs are formed at the community level to enhance community emergency preparedness and response of the people. If you are an able-bodied Singapore citizen or permanent resident aged 14 or older, and you want to make a difference in your community,

The Civil Defence Volunteer Scheme
